THE CREATIVE PROCESS OF WARHOL

Imagina agency project

When we worked at the Imagina agency, Convergencia once again came under a request from Fundación Mustakis for the new exhibition «Andy Warhol. Pop Art Icon «at the La Moneda Cultural Center, where the goal was for the experience to be designed for a more childish audience, focusing on showing the children what Pop Art and Andy Warhol’s work is about.

An interactive was created that teaches the work process of Andy Warhol, his inspiration, concepts and tools that he used in his works. Through different screens visitors are sought to soak up the creative process lived by the artist, all this under the Chilean social context.

To achieve this experience visitors to the exhibition enter a room set as a supermarket, where the works are displayed as if they were products in different gondolas, visitors can take one of the works and pass them by a reader, located in one of the the modules of the room, which contain a screen, headphones and a reader, thus the experience begins and visitors can learn and create a work from elements taken from the Chilean popular iconography.
