When we worked at the Imagina agency, Convergencia together with the Mustakis Foundation, again made a request, this time for the new exhibition «Picasso. Erudite Hand, Wild Eye «located at the La Moneda Cultural Center. The challenge was to create an experience to discover and experiment with the technique of painting with light..

We created a unique system that captures the movement of a flashlight in an interactive self-portrait, for this reason, we decided to use Openframeworks that allowed us to connect a Canon 7D and thus use all the characteristics that a DSLR camera gives us.

In the experience, the person had to take a torch from a container which had a pressure sensor, when activated, the system started delivering instructions. The person had 10 seconds to draw with the flashlight. When the time was up, the system revealed the self-portrait and at the same time upload it to a website, where the person could share it when the experience ended.
